Connecting Peoples (GRADE 3-6)

How is culture understood through belongings?  

Students learn about the cultural groups of Newfoundland and Labrador (Innu, Inuit, Livyers, Mi’kmaq) through exhibit exploration, material culture, and inquiry-based learning in the Cenovus Energy Gallery.  

This program can be adapted to meet curriculum outcomes from Grades 3 to 6. 

Grade 3: 25 students per session
Grade 4-6: 28 students per session

*Multiple sessions may be scheduled for larger groups.
